Walk-In Dinner Program
August 26, 2007
Thanks to all of you who helped to make the Walk-In Dinner a
success. So many of you contributed so generously to cooking double servings or even more. Others supplied the extras such
as salad, salad dressing, bread, butter, and of course, the dessert, coffee and tea. All these things make the dinner so much nicer for our guests. One young man said, “That’s what I call a real dinner.” We served “a real dinner” to 95 hungry people — that’s a record for us.
Thanks also to our very efficient and capable servers: Barbara Dunlop, Linda Siegrist, Marge Tomaselli, Mary Soong, and Phil Keller. They set up, served and cleaned up — an outstanding job!
If you want to be a part of the fun, contact Marilee Kadonaga or the Church at christinparamus@verizon.net.

Thank you to everyone who donated items for the Emergency Clean-up Buckets. Special thanks to the Martha Circle and Sue Claehsen, who each donated an entire bucket, and to Dahle Barringer, who donated any missing items needed to complete the other buckets.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, Christ Lutheran Church put together SEVEN buckets for Lutheran Disaster Response.
International Servent Trip to Bosnia
2007
Hvala — that’s “thank you” in Bosnian.
Hvala to all the folks who donated materials and to the dedicated ladies who came throughout the month of May to sew and stuff the clowns for this year’s International Servant Trip to Bosnia. Thirty-four people from New Jersey and beyond traveled
to Bosnia. Over the course of two weeks, they held Friendship Camps where they ministered to 2,200 children – yes, that’s twenty two hundred children!!
